Frightfest, Horror Channel and Movie Mogul CHALLENGE YOU
to make a short horror film following 6 killer restraints.
REWARDS
This challenge is open to ANYONE in the UK over the age of 18. THE BEST 6 FILMS as selected by Frightfest, Movie Mogul and Horror Channel, will be broadcast on the Horror Channel in the run up to Frightfest (August 2013), where they will be screened at Leicester Square before their discerning audience.
The winning film will receive £6,666 cash, great publicity, and the opportunity to develop a horror short or feature film idea under mentorship from Movie Mogul, for a possible 2014 production.
RESTRAINTS

We believe that restrictions really FOCUS CREATIVE THINKING, and we’re looking to be entertained in a BIG way. So we’ve laid down SIX killer restraints for you to follow…
1 Choose a title from the following 6 options:
– SWEET 6TEEN
– 6 SHOOTER
– 6th SENSE
– 6 SECONDS TO DIE
– 6 DEGREES OF (LIMB) SEPARATION
– 6 FEET UNDER
2 Maximum run time – 6x 30 seconds (That’s 3 minutes!)
3 Maximum lines of dialogue – 6
4 Maximum hours of shooting time – 6
5 Maximum budget – £666
6 Maximum cast – 6, and maximum crew members – 6 (including post)

CONDITIONS
- You must live in the UK and be 18 years or older to enter
- Films can be live action or animation
- All MUSIC & RIGHTS CLEARANCES must be in place, and this must be your own, original work which does not infringe the rights of ANY THIRD PARTY
- Selected films agree to grant ALL RIGHTS in ALL MEDIA to Movie Mogul for broadcast, screening and publicity purposes

- You must supply a one page BUDGET TOP SHEET with your submission, detailing expenditure
- Selection decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into
